Graduation Information


The DRCSS is pleased to invite each graduate and a maximum of 4 guests to the private convocation ceremonies on June 20.  The convocation schedule will be released soon; please check the DRCSS website for updates as they become available.

Agricultural Equipment Technician Credits Available through DRCSS!

Agricultural equipment technicians (AETs) play a key role in keeping Agriculture industry up and running as new technology improves equipment in the field.

Two electives courses, at the grade 11 and 12 level, provide students with the opportunity to gain experience in the agricultural equipment technician industry, earn high school credits, and experience at dealerships.

The AET courses are offered online, and course notes, instructional videos, are related resources are available 24 hours a day. Teachers are available to answer questions, clarify content, and offer guidance through email, Skype, and phone meetings during regular school hours.

 AET credit

The course is comprised of 50 hours of on-line learning, a day at ACC in Brandon, and 50 hours of placement at a dealership. 
Requirements for AET participation
Students need any level of a Life/Work credit, or to be taking a Life/Work credit the same time as the AET, in order to be enrolled in the AET program. Students need to be in grade 11 or grade 12 and to be turning 16 within the school year.
