Nutrition Program

At the DRCSS, our nutrition program is being administered by staff and students who volunteer their time for the benefit of the DRCSS community.  Throughout the day, the DRCSS offers opportunities for students to access fresh fruit, vegetables, muffins, sausage and cheese, toast, cereal, yoghurt, and granola bars.  Daily, upwards of 300 to 400 of these items are accessed by DRCSS students.

Also, at lunch, there is a free daily soup in which the DRCSS population can access in the cafeteria.  There are also opportunities throughout the year in which students can access hot breakfasts or lunches provided by students enrolled in our culinary program.  All in all, the nutrition program is relied on and appreciated by the whole DRCSS student body.
