XCountry Provincials - (Coaches - Mr. Matskiw, Ms. Sochan) - The Clipper XCountry team competed in the MHSAA XCountry provincials this past Tuesday, May 10, at Spruce Woods Provincial Park.  Congratulations to our six runners, Jaxen Furkalo, Liam Sobering, Ava Paziuk, Kara Paziuk, Calla Tabin, & Ellie Czarnecki, who competed in the MHSAA cross country provincials yesterday. The athletes had a great day and had quite a challenge as the trail was grueling, to say the least. Lots of hills, sandy trails, and very windy conditions! Additionally, congratulations to Kara and Ava, who placed 12th and 13th, respectively, out of 111 runners in their event! Great job runners!

Baseball - (Coach - Mr. Sheldon, Mr. Houle; Community Coach - Keith Tkachyk) - Unfortunately, the Clippers home opener vs Neelin this past Wednesday was cancelled due to weather.

National Aboriginal Hockey Championship - Congratulations to Kyan Grouette and Carter Zalischuk for representing the DRCSS as members of Team Manitoba at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship in Membertou, NS this past week.  They finished the round-robin with a 3-1 record, but their tournament run ended in the quarter-finals losing to Team Eastern Door.  Both Carter and Kyan put up 5 points each, Carter with two goals and three assists, and Kyan with one goal and four assists!

Dauphin Kings - The Dauphin Kings are the Manitoba Junior Hockey League champions.  The Kings beat the Steinbach Pistons 2-1 in a game seven last Wednesday, May 11, and it was DRCSS's Brayden Dube, Grade 11, who scored the game-winner!   Congratulations to Brayden and all the Kings!

Coming up;
