• Graduating high school in Canada in the 2022/2023 academic year
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Academic excellence
• Leadership (entrepreneurial or community), charisma, and creativity
• Financial need is a consideration
• Entrepreneurial-minded and plan to enroll in an eligible STEM program (Technology; Engineering; Entrepreneurship and Business Enterprise; Applied Scientific Research) at one of our partner universities - the list of eligible universities and programs can be found at https://www.schulichleaders.com/universities
• Not focusing on environmental or political activism; not planning a career as a medical practitioner or researcher. This includes doctors, dentists, nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, optometrists, etc.; not becoming a professor of theoretical research.
