- Indigenous ancestry
- Citizen of Canada and permanent resident of Manitoba, having resided in Manitoba for the last 12 months
- Plan to attend one of the recognized post-secondary educational institutions in Manitoba in the upcoming year in any discipline (trades, business, science, general studies, etc.)
- You plan to maintain a full time minimum 60% course load
- You are in need of financial assistance
