The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation is hosting a variety of free online events from Sep. 27 to Oct. 1 to support our collective efforts toward understanding truth and reconciliation. Within Mountain View School Division, this year for the first time, September 30th will be observed as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Are you a high school student that is thinking about pursuing a career in health sciences? The RFHSCMP is a program that matches interested Grade 12 and Undergraduate University students to mentors who study within one of the Health Colleges in the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at University of Manitoba. On Sep. 3, 2021, the Manitoba government announced it is recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a day of observance to encourage reflection and meaningful discussions about the impacts of residential schools. Mountain View School Division invites you to a Town Hall meeting via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7 with Superintendent Dan Ward to review school re-opening plans. The evening will start with a short presentation followed by a Question and Answer session. You do not need to pre-register.
