Oct. 23, 2020: The DRCSS heating system has now been fixed and classes will resume on Monday.

Due to a system failure in our heating system, the ventilation system will be shut down for the afternoon at the DRCSS. Out of an abundance of caution, we are sending students home for the afternoon as good ventilation is an infection control measure during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Celebrating our #mvsd_mb teachers! We appreciate you and thank you for all that you do for your students!

In honour of School Support Staff Recognition Week (Sep. 28-Oct. 2, 2020), as proclaimed by the Minister of Education, a sincere "thank you" is extended to all support staff in MVSD for the valuable work they do in our schools and in supporting the education of our students!

An issue that has been identified is the fact that the Mon/Wed student grouping is losing a total of 4 days due to PD and Stat Holidays. MVSD has asked that the ‘lost’ days be made up on the Friday’s of the week that the day is actually lost, provided that our school is still in the blended learning mode during these times. Buses will run on those Fridays.
